As a rule, NREAM's employees are loan employees from Nomura Real Estate, Inc. Accordingly, new graduates and mid-career personnel are recruited and the employees are evaluated based on NRE's recruitment plans and evaluation criteria. Moreover, based on NRE's "Basic Plan on Personnel Development," periodic job rotation and personnel transfers are implemented in principle. Such policies are conducted in accordance with NRE's personnel systems and the policies of our parent company Nomura Real Estate Holdings, Inc.

Moreover, NRE has established "N-COLLEGE" as a self-improvement support system for employees. This education system provides various programs for acquiring real estate-related specialist qualifications, including Real Estate Transaction Agent, Real Estate Appraiser, and First-Class Registered Architect, training courses in general business skills including financial affairs, finance and languages, and numerous other programs (MBA acquisition support programs, etc.) operated by external business schools, graduate schools. This system is available to NREAM employees (*excluding some officers, contract employees and assigned employees).

The Nomura Real Estate Group introduced "ESOP Trust for Granting Stock" for employees of Nomura Real Estate Holdings and Group companies from fiscal 2019. The aim is to foster a sense of belonging to, and involvement in the management of the Group among the Group employees so as to enhance their enthusiasm and morale to improve performance and increase share price in the long-term. The Group encourages the purchase of treasury stock through this program.
